1. When This Type of Copy is Produced
Symptom
The Image on the Copy is not
aligned properly.
Possible Cause
The original is not placed in the
correct position.
The originals may not be suitable
for use in the AFR-9.
(When AFR-9 is being used.)
The Original Glass is dirty. (When
1139O1680A
AFR-9 is being used.)
Action
Place the original correctly on the
Original Glass against the Original
Width Scale. p. 34
Or, load it onto the AFR-9
correctly along the Document
Guide Plates. p. 33
Raise the AFR-9 and place the
originals on the Original Glass one
at a time, instead of using the
AFR-9. p. 33
Wipe the Original Glass clean with
a soft dry cloth. p. 183
