If this occurs repeatedly, contact your technical service for a memory
upgrade. Until then you should send large documents in direct mode,
i.e. with the memory turned off.

Settings for Sending a Fax

Resolution

Insert the document into the ADF.
If you send documents with normal print or typed documents, adjustments
are not necessary. To change the resolution press
RESOLUTION has four settings::
Standard
Fine
Super fine
Half tone
Note
The settings HALFTONE and SUPER FINE increase the transmission
time and transmission costs.
You can see which resolution is currently active by the lid LEDs. When the
resolution Super fine is selected, the LEDs STANDARD and FINE are lit
together.
Minoltafax 1600e
This is the normal resolution for most typed documents and
simple drawings.
Resolution for small print
Resolution for very fine print, e.g. newspaper articles.
Halftone mode captures shades in photographs and drawings.
