Notes on Original Documents

Your fax machine is capable of transmitting the document sizes below.
You can place up to 20 sheets of paper in the A4-format in the Automatic
Document Feeder (ADF). To guarantee correct paper feeding, you should
not place more that 10 sheets in the document feeder.
The effective width of the text corresponds to the size of the document ex-
cept from a 4 mm wide edge around all 4 sides of the document. The ma-
chine requires this edge to transport the paper.
If the document is longer than 500 mm, the machine recognises document
jam and stops scanning the document.
Use yellow, green-yellow or light blue colours for information you do not
want to be transmitted.
Make sure ink, glue, correction fluid etc. are completely dry before you
send a fax.
Note
Always remove staples, paper-clips etc. before you send a fax. Other-
wise the machine might be seriously damaged.
