Remove Throttle Control Panel
1. Disconnect the thrott le control cable.
2. Remove the 4 hex fl ange screws securing the
thrott le control panel and remove the panel from
the blower housing. See Figure 8-12.

Remove External Governor Controls
1. Disconnect the governor spring att aching the
governor lever to the thrott le actuator lever. See
Figure 8-12.

2. Disconnect the thrott le linkage spring. Remove
the thrott le linkage bushing and thrott le linkage
from the governor lever. See Figure 8-13.

5. Loosen the hex fl ange nut and remove the
governor lever from the cross shaft . See Figure 8-14.

Do not fi ll the fuel tank while the
engine is hot or running.

Gasoline is extremely fl ammable and its vapors can explode
if ignited. Store gasoline only in approved containers, in well
ventilated, unoccupied buildings, away from sparks or fl ames.
Do not fi ll the fuel tank while the engine is hot or running,
since spilled fuel could ignite if it comes in contact with hot
parts or sparks from ignition. Do not start the engine near
spilled fuel. Never use gasoline as a cleaning agent.
