Effective flash range (S : [AUTO])
Wide-angle: Approx. 60 cm to 7.2 m (2.0 ft. to 23.6 ft.)
Telephoto: Approx. 2.5 m to 3.8 m (8.2 ft. to 12.5 ft.)
If you take pictures outside of the effective flash range,
the image may appear dark even if the flash is used.
CAUTION Notes on using flash
• If the shutter speed is set to a speed faster than 1/1000
sec., the image may appear dark even if the flash is
used.
• If pressing the shutter button while the flash is charging
(indicator lamp blinking orange), the picture will be
taken without the flash (when using [AUTO] and
