Line/Feature buttons (
area. In addition to providing call appearances (Lines), these buttons provide
other call-related features (either provided with your telephone system or
administered by your System Administrator) in the Phone application (and serve
as application-specific buttons in other applications, such as the Call Log).
You can re-label any of the Phone application Feature buttons using the Feature
Button Labeling option. For example, one of your Feature buttons may be labeled
CFwd for Call Forwarding but you want it to read simply Fwd. Or, if you have
re-labeled several Feature buttons and want to restore the default (original)
labels, this option lets you view the default label values and then restore them if
desired.
1. Select Feature Button Labeling on the second Options Main screen.
The Feature Button Labeling Options screen displays. If you have more
Feature buttons than can fit on the display screen, the Paging Indicators
display in the softkey area and the options screen indicates the current
page number displayed.
2. Choose one of the following options:

Proceed to Step 3.
Select View default labels.
The Default Feature Button View screen displays.
Review the default labels, then select Return to
re-display the Feature Button Labeling Options
screen.
Repeat Step 2, selecting a different option.
Select Relabel feature buttons.
The Feature Button Relabeling screen displays.
Proceed to Step 3.
Select Restore default labels.
The Restore Default Feature Button Labels screen
displays, prompting "Restore all Feature Button labels
to default settings?" and "Press Default to confirm."
To restore the default labels, select Default, or to
return to the Feature Button Labeling Options screen
without making a change, select Cancel.
The Feature Button Labeling Options screen displays.
