6-14. Side Fan Replacement

When necessary, refer to other removal procedures.
HP 16500A and HP 16501A
1. Remove the power cord and top, bottom, and right side covers. To remove the covers, refer to
section 6-10, "Cover Removal."
2. Remove the four side fan mounting screws.
3. Reach through the top of the instrument and disconnect the fan power cable. Figure 6-42 shows the
bottom view of the instrument.
4. Reverse this procedure to install the replacement side fan. Make sure that the fan power cable is
dressed under and between the fans.
