6-13. Rear Fan Replacement

When necessary, refer to other removal procedures.
HP 16500A and HP 16501A
1. Remove the power cord and the top cover. To remove the top cover, refer to section 6-10, "Cover
Removal."
2. Remove the rear fan mounting screws. Remove the complete rear fan assembly from the rear panel
of the instrument.
3. Disconnect the rear fan power cable. Remove the fan from the fan cover.
4. Reverse this procedure to install the replacement rear fan. Make sure that the fan power cable is
dressed under and between the fans.
