8. Select Run on the HP 1651B, then scroll the data to fill the screen. The results on the HP 1651B
screen should show the Data and Address alternating between AA and 55. See figure 6-37.
Also, the screen should show the Strobe with a hexadecimal representation of walking 0s through
the data bits. See figure 6-37. The hexadecimal (hex) representation can be changed to a binary
representation as shown below.

If the test results are not correct, replace the mainframe interface card and reconfigure the
HP 16500A/16501A system. Then, return to the Expansion Frame Flowchart 12.
If the test results are correct, reconfigure the HP 16500A/16501A system. Then, continue with
this procedure.

9. Turn off the HP 16500A/16501A system, then remove the power cord from the mainframe and from
the expansion frame. Remove all option modules from the expansion frame.
10. Remove the expansion interface card far enough to read the reference designators of the
components on the back of the card (closest to the rear panel). To remove the expansion interface
card (board), refer to section 6-20, "Expansion Interface Board Replacement."
