Turbine Generator Gas Analyzer
there are no kinks or obstructions in the return line to avoid over
pressurizing and possibly damaging the analyzer.

3.2.1 Vent Line

Gases exiting the instrument should be vented to an area remote
from the analyzer. This line must not be blocked! The following
precautions must be observed in vent line installation:
1. Use 3/16" ID tubing to eliminate any backpressure or restricted
flow.
2. Vent to an area where the ambient pressure is normal
atmospheric pressure.
3. The ambient pressure in the vent area must undergo no more
than normal barometric pressure changes.
4. The vent line must be installed in such a manner as to avoid
water and dirt accumulation.

3.2.2 Pressure Regulation

All incoming gas lines from a high-pressure source should be
equipped with pressure regulators. Pressure regulators should be
installed as close to the sample take off point as possible to minimize
sample line lag time.
