Error Messages and Their Meanings

If there is an error, one of the following messages may appear on the display. It
might just flash up briefly, so if you are watching for errors, stay by the machine
and check the display.
Message
Document Misfeed. Scanned pages have
been deleted.
Communication error: Press the Stop key. An error occurred during Immediate
Memory has reached its limit. Document
being loaded was deleted.
Printing error: check cover and/or paper. • Cannot print or lists because paper has

Problem and Solution
Original jammed during Memory Trans-
mission. Reset documents that haven't
been scanned.
Transmission. Press [OK] and re-send the
document.
Note
There may be a problem with the ma-
chine or the telephone line (e.g. noise
or cross talk). If the error re-occurs fre-
quently, contact your service represen-
tative.
Transmission has halted because the
memory capacity has been reached. Split
the document and send each part sepa-
rately.
