Replacing the Toner Cartridge

When D is displayed, the toner is al-
most running out. Prepare a new ton-
er cartridge. If the image density gets
too light, replace the toner cartridge
with a new one.
Important
Used toner cartridges can be recy-
cled. Please contact the seller of
this machine.
Always turn off the machine's
main power switch before replac-
ing the toner cartridge.
Always use toner cartridges rec-
ommended specifically for this
model. Using any other type could
damage the machine.
Do not leave the main side cover
open for a protracted length of
time. Exposing the toner cartridge
7 to light for an extended period of
time may cause it to deteriorate, so
replace the cartridge as quickly as
possible.
Do not stand the toner cartridge
upside down or at an angle.

Open the main side cover in the
direction of the arrow.

Grasp the handles at both ends
and remove the toner cartridge.
C
Shake the new toner cartridge
from left to right, and backwards
and forwards about 7 or 8 times.
Note
Unevenly distributed
within the cartridge may result
in reduced print quality.

Place the toner cartridge on a flat
surface. While supporting the car-
tridge with one hand, pull the
