Important:
Using
the parental
lock
This special feature
allows you to lock the entire
[W cturing a
certain
time period or lock up to ten individual
channels.
(You
cannot
lock the TV and lock individual
channels
at the same time.)
When you turn on the lock, you enteJ: a 4-digit secret code that will
allow you to turn off the lock later.
If you try to turn on a locked TV, view a locked channel,
or the
locking "time period" begins, you will: see a message
asking
you to
enter the secret code. If you don't enter the code within
five
minutes,
the TV will turn off or tune to an unlocked
channel.
If you enter the secret code, the message
will disappear
and the
lock will be turned
off temporarily.
I-]iowever, the TV or channels
will be locked again after you turn off the TV. This will continue
until you turn the lock off permanenl:ly.

the lock off
permanently,
follow the procedure
later in this sectio_a.

select "Lock the T¥" or "Lock
the Channel."
Press ENTER.
If you selected
"Lock the TV,"

If you selected
"Lock the Chan-
nel," see "locking the channel"
in this chapter.
If you turn the parental
TV lock on, you cannot
use the timer.
