    This projection television uses picture tubes to project the image to the screen. All picture tubes age with use. As they age, their light output is gradually reduced. Normal television pictures fill the screen with constantly changing images.
  • Page 75 Important Notes, continued Warning: If you place speakers next to the TV, make sure they are magnetically shielded. Ordinary speakers will cause distortion in the picture due to their strong magnets. This distortion, however, will not permanently harm the picture tubes. If you place non-shielded speakers next to the TV, they may affect the convergence.
