Aider you have set up your remote
control
for your particular
bra,
of cable box, you can use the remote
to operaLe your cable box.
I[11 Use the select switch
on the remote
control
to choose the layer
that you set up to operate
your cable box: CABLE or VCR-B.
O
Point the remote control
at the cable box and press the desirec
buttons.
You can use the POWER,
CHANNEL,
numbers
(0-9), and ENTER
buttons
to operate, your cable box. If you
are
using an RCA DSS or
PRIMESTAR
®receiver,
you may be able to use additional
buttons,
setting
up the remote
control
to operate
your Mitsubishi
audio
component
(laserdisc
player
or A/V receiver)
10P Turn off your audio component.
Set the select switch
on the top of the remote
to choose the
layer you want
to set up. For a laserdisc
player,
choose CABLE
or VCR-B. For an AJ7 receiver,
or CD player,
choose CABLE.
While holding
in the POWER
bu_ton on the remote
control,
enter one of these
code numbers:
• For a Mitsubishi
AAr receiw_r, compact
disc player: 30, 31 or 35
• For a Mitsubishi
laserdisc
player:
32 or 33
• For a Yamaha
tW receiver,
compact
disc player: 36 or 37
Be sure to enter' both digits 0f the code number.
If more than
one number
is listed, try the first one.
O
Release
the POWER
button.
O
Press the POWER
button
again. Your audio component
should
turn
on. If it does, your remote
control
is now set up to operate
your audio component.
If it does not turn on, repeat
the instruc-
tions above, trying
the other code number
listed for your
component.
