Operation on Solaris
Installation/System
Insert the Drivers and Utilities CD in the CD-ROM drive of the lo station.
If drive is not mounted on your workstation, extract files by using anot station that
has a CD-ROM drive to transfer those files to your work
Log on as a root account and extract the installa ipt from the Drivers and Utilities CD
NOTICE: If you have no root p ntact your system administrator.
# cd /tmp
# cp /cdrom/cdrom0/UXFILTER.tar /
tar xvf ./UXFILTER.tar
Type ./install.sh and run the installer.
# ./install.sh
Select the printer model to install.
Printer Model ?
1. Dell MFP Color Laser 3115cn
2. Exit
Enter Process No (1/2)? : 1
The following menu appears. Sel <1> and set up the local printer.
Solaris Instal Dell MFP Laser Printer 3115cn Type Printer
1. S Printer
. Set Remote Printer
Enter Process No (1/2)? : 1
Type the device name of the connection port.
