For Windows Server 2008:
Open Control Panel
Select Network and Sharing Center.
Connect to a network.
t the setting you send to the printer from the network items lis Connect to a
network.
Select Connect in the warning dialog box indication indicating you are ent
unsecured area.
Click Close in the dialog box after c the connection is a success.

Create new wireless settings for your computer.
For Windows XP and Windows Server
ct Network Connections from Control Panel.
Right-click Wir rk Connection and select Properties.
Select the eless Networks tab.
Ensure that the c for Use Windows to configure my wireless netwo ngs is
checked.
NOTE: nsure that you write down the current wireless computer settings in d and g so
that you can restore them later.
Click the ed button.
Select Co Computer (ad hoc) networks only and close the Advanced dialog
box.
Click the Add button to display W ork properties.
In the Association tab, enter the following information and OK.
Network name (SSID): dell_device
Network Authentication: Open
Data encryption: led
Ad hoc network: checked
