3.10 Adjusting the remaining thread monitor

Rule and control
Adjust the remaining thread monitor so that the end of the hook thread
is recognised.
–
Select the function "Adjusting the remaining thread monitor".

Insert empty bobbin.
–
The symbol should not be crossed when the reflecting surface 1
stands in front of the light barrier.
The symbol must be crossed when the reflecting surface does not
stand in front of the light barrier.
Correction
–
Select the function "Adjusting remaining thread monitor ".
–
Insert empty bobbin.
–
Loosen the screw 3.
–
Adjust the light barrier 2 so that the displayed symbol is no longer
crossed.
–
Tighten the screw 3.
