The computer may not be
enabled for USB operation.
Corrective Action
•
In Windows:

Click Start > Settings >
Control Panel.

Double click the System
icon.

Click the Device Manager
or Hardware tab, then click
the Device Manager
button.

Click the Plus (+) sign next to
the USB (Universal Serial Bus)
Controller option.

If USB host controller and
USB root hub are present,
the USB is enabled.

If they are not present,
read your computer
manual for information
on how to enable a USB
connection.

In Macintosh:

From the control panel,
check the characteristics
of the system and that
there is a USB connection
up and running.

Reinstall the USB drivers
for Macintosh by
consulting the
documentation provided
by the system
manufacturer.
