SOLUTION
This phone will operate during a power
failure if a working battery has been installed.
You will be able to answer calls with the
handset or headset, and dial calls using the
keypad and the One Touch or Redial features.
No other features will work until power is
restored. All programing, directory entries,
and Caller ID information are retained during
a power failure.
SOLUTION
The phone has been disconnected from AC
power. When power is restored, a key is
pressed, or the phone is taken off the hook,
the screen will return to the usual display.
One Touch and Redial numbers are retained
until power is restored.
SOLUTION
Make sure the power cord is connected
to both the phone and an electrical outlet
not controlled by a wall switch.
SOLUTION
• The total lengeth of telephone wiring in
your phone system MUST not be more
than 600 feet.
• If you are a DSL customer, you may need
toarrange for installation of a splitter and
anAT&T Z800A filter. See "DSL Users"
beginning on page 4 for details.
• Another device connected to Line 1 may
be causing interfecence. Try disconnecting
the device.
