Description
The processor may over-report PMCx instruction cache fetches when the performance monitor is enabled
on an odd processor core number APIC ApicId is odd - i e bit is b as compared to when the
performance counter is used on an even processor core number
Potential Effect on System
Performance monitoring software may not have an accurate count of instruction cache fetch operations The
performance counter may overcount
