3. Slide the tape drive into the tape blade chassis and push on the mounting rail handles until the tape
drive is fully inserted into the chassis, taking care not to catch any of the cables at the rear of
the tape drive.

4. Power on the partner server blade. The tape drive will run its hardware self-test, which takes about 5
seconds. If self-test passes, the green Ready LED on the tape drive flashes and then shows steady
green.
