Audience Assumptions
This road map is intended for the person who installs, administers,
and troubleshoots network servers. Hewlett-Packard Company
assumes that you are qualified in the servicing of computer
equipment and trained in recognizing hazards in products with
hazardous energy levels.
ESD Warning
This NetServer contains sensitive electronic devices that can be
damaged by electrostatic discharge (ESD). ESD hazards are a result
of installation or service personnel failing to ground themselves
properly. To be properly grounded, you must use a proper ESD wrist
strap and work surface grounded to the NetServer chassis.
Tools Required
•Screwdriver: TORX T15 (if installing options)

•Screwdriver: flat blade, 1/4-inch (if installing external SCSI port)

    Processor Installation Rules The HP NetServer E 60 supports either IntelPentium II orPentium III processors. Do not mix Pentium II and Pentium III processors in the system. Do not mix processors with different clock speeds (for example, 400 and 450 MHz) in the system. Note that compatible processors may not be identical in appearance.
