Phase 1b – (Bootable Non-Multilingual Installation CD)
NOTE: If your hard drive contains data or is not new, HP recommends using a utility such as
Fdisk to erase all data and partitions from your hard drive.
1. Insert Novell Netware 6.0 SBS CD-ROM and boot the system.
2. Read the license agreement and click Agree if you agree with the terms and
conditions within the license.
3. Click Next to "Create a New Boot Partition". HP recommends
modifying Size of boot partition to create a 1000MB boot partition.
4. If you accept erasing all data on your disk, select Next for your system to create
the partition, reboot, and format that partition.
5. Choose "Advanced Installation" and select "Change IP
Address from default." Press Next, then press Next again to begin the
installation.
6. Insert the License Diskette. Press OK.
7. Proceed to Phase 2 to continue.
Phase 1c – (Bootable Multilingual Installation CD)
1. Boot to the Multilingual Installation CD.
2. Select the language that you wish to use.
3. Select Accept License Agreement and hit Enter.
4. Select Create a New Boot Partition and hit Enter.
5.
Select Modify and hit Enter.
6. HP recommends using 1000MB for the DOS partition size.
7. Select Continue and hit Enter.
8. Select Continue if you are ready to create a new partition, remove all data on the
selected drive, and format the disk. Hit Enter.
9. Press any key to reboot.
