The Camera : Basic Picture Taking
Deleting Recorded Pictures Using DELETE Menu
1. Turn your camera on by setting the Power Switch to
(CAMERA) mode.

✤ Selecting Images To Delete
1. Press the DOWN or UP button to select "SELECT", then press
the RIGHT button.

Select "YES" to display multiple pictures screen.
2. Press the DOWN or UP button to select an image to delete,
then press the MENU button.

To cancel the selection, press the MENU button again on
a selected image.
3. When you are done with selection, press the OK button.
I
A message "PLEASE WAIT" appears and deletes
selected images. The previous picture or motion clip is
displayed.
✤ Deleting All Images At Once
1. Press the DOWN or UP button to select "ALL", then press the
RIGHT button.

Select "YES" if you are sure to delete.
2. If "YES" is selected, message "DELETE ?" appears on the
LCD monitor.

Press the OK button to delete. Press the LEFT button to
cancel.
Notes
✤ When there is no stored picture on the memory card, the message "NO IMAGE!"
will be displayed.
✤ If an erroneous memory card format is found on the memory card, the message
"CARD ERROR!" will be displayed.
✤ If an erroneous image file is found on the memory card, the message "FILE
ERROR" will be displayed. It may be caused by copying images from different
digital devices.
✤ Formatting the memory card will delete all the stored images.
✤ To protect important picture from accidental deletion, activate the image
protection (refer to page 135).

Gespeicherte Bilder mit dem Menü LÖSCHEN <DELETE> löschen
1. Schalten Sie die Kamera ein, indem Sie mit dem Hauptschalter den
Modus (AUFNAHME <CAMERA>) einstellen.
2. Wechseln Sie mit dem Moduswahlschalter in den Modus
(PLAY-Modus).

Auf dem LCD-Bildschirm wird die letzte Aufnahme angezeigt.
3. Drücken Sie die Taste MENÜ <MENU>.

Das Hauptmenü mit dem Menüpunkt
<DELETE>) wird angezeigt.
4. Drücken Sie die Taste NACH RECHTS bzw. NACH LINKS,
um (LÖSCHEN <DELETE>) auszuwählen.
Drücken Sie anschließend die Taste NACH UNTEN.

WÄHLEN <SELECT> und ALLE <ALL>.
✤ Zu löschende Bilder auswählen
1. Drücken Sie die Taste NACH UNTEN bzw. NACH OBEN, um
WÄHLEN <SELECT> auszuwählen. Drücken Sie anschließend die
Taste NACH RECHTS.

Wählen Sie JA <YES> aus, um mehrere Bilder anzuzeigen.
2. Drücken Sie die Taste NACH UNTEN bzw. NACH OBEN, um
WÄHLEN <SELECT> auszuwählen. Drücken Sie anschließend die
Taste MENÜ <MENU>.

Drücken Sie die Taste MENÜ <MENU> erneut, um die Auswahl
zurückzunehmen.
3. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit der Taste OK.

Die Nachricht BITTE WARTEN <PLEASE WAIT> wird
angezeigt. Die ausgewählten Bilder werden gelöscht. Das
vorherige Bild bzw. der vorherige Filmclip wird angezeigt.
✤ Alle Bilder löschen
1. Drücken Sie die Taste NACH UNTEN bzw. NACH OBEN, um ALLE
<ALL> auszuwählen. Drücken Sie anschließend die Taste NACH
RECHTS.

Wählen Sie JA <YES> aus, wenn Sie den Löschvorgang fortsetzen möchten.
2. Bei Auswahl von JA <YES> erscheint die Nachricht LÖSCHEN? <DELETE?> auf
dem LCD-Bildschirm.

Drücken Sie die Taste OK, um den Löschvorgang auszuführen.
Drücken Sie die Taste NACH LINKS, um den Vorgang abzubrechen.
Hinweise
✤ Falls keine Aufnahme auf der Speicherkarte gespeichert ist, wird KEIN BILD!
<NO IMAGE!> angezeigt.
✤ Bei einer fehlerhaften Formatierung der Speicherkarte wird die Nachricht
KARTENFEHLER! <CARD ERROR!> angezeigt.
✤ Wenn auf der Speicherkarte eine fehlerhafte Bilddatei gefunden wird, erscheint die
Nachricht DATEIFEHLER <FILE ERROR>. Ein solcher Fehler kann eintreten,
wenn ein Bild von einem anderen Gerät stammt.
✤ Durch die Formatierung der Speicherkarte werden alle gespeicherten Bilder gelöscht.
✤ Verwenden Sie den Bildschutz, um ein versehentliches Löschen wichtiger Bilder zu
verhindern (siehe Seite 135).
