How to fold and unfold prints to make a
magazine
❖ Open to left
❖ Open to right

Place the originals.

Press [Dup./Combine/Series].

Press [Series/Book].

Press [Book] or [Book: Hand-feed].

Select [1 Sided→Booklet], [2 Sid-
ed→Booklet], [1 Sided→Magazine] or
[2 Sided→Magazine], and then press
[OK].

Press [OK].

Press the {Start} key.
Note
❒ When placing an original on the
exposure glass, press the {q}
key after all the originals have
been scanned.
❒ In Booklet mode, the machine
automatically starts master
making when the four originals
have been scanned. If there are
less than four pages of originals,

press the {q} key after scan-
ning the last page. Pressing the
{q} key signals the end of
scanning, and initiates master
making. Likewise, pressing the
{q} key after scanning the last
page in Magazine mode also
signals the end of scanning, and
initiates master making.
