Installation and Training
T
his chapter describes how to install, set up, and train Dragon Naturally
Speaking.
System requirements
To run Dragon NaturallySpeaking, your system must meet the following
requirements:
Intel
NOTE
500MHz.
512MB RAM (256 MB free minimum).
500MB of free hard disk space for a Custom Installation where you install only
the program files and 1 set of speech files. Installations can range from 800 MB
(Standard Edition) to 2.5 GB (US English Medical).
Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 or higher, Windows XP Pro, Windows XP Home.
Windows ME is supported only for Standard and Preferred editions.
16-bit Creative
set to 16bit, 11KHz for Audio Recording.
