A dialog box will appear asking if you really want to permanently remove this
user. To confirm, click "Yes." To cancel, click "No."
You cannot delete the currently open user. If you want to delete the currently open
user, you must first close that user. For more information see "Closing a user" on
page 135.
NOTE
\...NaturallySpeaking\Users folder on your hard disk. Using the Delete button is the only way to
completely remove all information about a user from your computer.

Backing up and restoring a user

When you make changes to your user (for example, by adding words to the
vocabulary), Dragon NaturallySpeaking prompts you to save your user speech files.
The program automatically makes a backup copy every fifth time you save your
speech files.
You can change the frequency of automatic backups or turn this feature off. On the
NaturallySpeaking menu, click Tools>Options>Data tab.
Using the "Automatically back up user files every "n" saves" option, you can set how
often you want to automatically back up your speech files.

From the NaturallySpeaking menu, select Manage Users.

In the Manage Users dialog box, select the user you want to back up.

Click the Advanced> button and then select Backup.
This backs up the selected user in the location specified in the Backup location
dialog box. The default location, <default>, is the individual user's folder. You can
change the Backup location to any directory where Windows has both read and write
permissions, including portable devices such as Zip drives and CD burners. If you
change the location, backups for all users will be located in the same directory. For
information on changing the default location, see "Changing the backup location"
on page 137.
