6 With the new layer still selected, press the T key on your keyboard to display the
Opacity property for the layer.
7 Set the Opacity to 40%.
8 Drag the current-time indicator in the Timeline window to 2 seconds (02:00).
9 Click the stopwatch icon next to the Opacity value to create a keyframe.
10 Drag the current-time indicator to the left about 10 frames ((01:20).
11 Set the Opacity to 0%.
A new keyframe is automatically created.
12 Move the current-time indicator to about 02:10. Set the Opacity to 0%.
The keyframes you just created will make the new layer appear and then disappear,
creating a glowing pulse in the animation.
13 Choose Composition > Preview > RAM Preview.
14 Save the After Effects project.
