5 In the Project window, select the Scene01.avi video file.
Note: Make sure you select the video file, and not the timeline.
6 Choose Edit > Edit Original.
Because you embedded project information when you rendered the AVI file in Premiere
Pro, the project from which you exported the file opens. If Premiere Pro is not currently
running, it will start automatically.

Using the ripple edit tool in Premiere Pro

The ripple edit tool lets you trim a clip within a timeline, and then adjusts the clips that
follow. You will use the ripple edit tool to remove the tombstone scene from the video.
1 In Premiere Pro, click the timeline to ensure that it is active.
2 In the Timeline window, move the current-time indicator to 20:19 (right before the
scene of the tombstones).
This is where you want this clip to end, editing out the tombstones.
3 Select the ripple edit tool (
) in the toolbox.
