Creating Motion Menus
Moving the current-time indicator
There are several ways to move the current-time indicator. Which method you use depends on your
preference and how far you need to move the current-time indicator.
Drag the current-time indicator to the new location. This option is best if you're moving
the current-time indicator a short distance. Otherwise, scrolling through the timeline can be
time-consuming.
Click the timeline where you want the current-time indicator to be positioned. You can
scroll rapidly through the timeline to the new position. When you click the timeline, the
current-time indicator moves there.
Specify a numeric value in the Timeline field. Click the field and then type a new
timecode value for the current-time indicator. When you press Enter, the current-time indicator
moves to that location.
Drag left or right over the Timeline or Source timecode value. You can scrub through values,
just as you can in Adobe Premiere or Adobe After Effects. The farther you drag, the more quickly
the timecode changes.
