5 Select the new AVI file in the Project window. Press the arrow next to the thumbnail
preview in the Project window.
The video thumbnail plays, so that you can preview the video asset quickly. This clip is a
short looping background. You will use it to replace the original background for the main
menu.
6 In the Project window, select the Cardiac_main menu.
7 In the Properties palette, drag the Video field pick whip ( ) to the
Cardiac_background.avi file in the Project window.
To use a pick whip, click the pick whip icon and then hold down the mouse button while
you drag it to the item you want to pick. Release the mouse button when the item you
want to select is highlighted. The item's name appears in the field.
