5 If necessary, use the direct select tool to select just the text block of the button, and
reposition it so it is centered within the button.
6 Repeat steps 2-5 for the other two buttons, naming the buttons to refer to the linked
timelines as shown in the Properties palette.
7 Save the project.
Adding a title to the menu
The menu contains a company name, but no title. You'll add a title to the menu to help
the viewer understand the contents of the DVD.
1 Drag the text tool to create a rectangle in the left side of the menu between the Title
Safe area guides and the buttons.
2 Open the Character palette. Choose Myriad Pro for the font, Bold for the font style, 36
for the type size, and black for the color. (Select NTSC Colors Only in the Color Picker.)
Click the Align Left option.
