Once the comments return to you (the initiator), they are integrated
into the PDF. When you double-click the e-mail attachment to open the
document in Acrobat, the Merge Comments? dialog displays. You can
choose to open the copy of the document, or merge the comments into
the tracked PDF file (Figure 80a). Click Yes to incorporate the comments
and close the dialog.

The dialog asks how you want to handle the comments.
You can then review the contents of the Comments List and finish the
document's processing (Figure 80b). Read about using comment fea-
tures and tools in Chapter 10, "Commenting in a PDF Document. "

When the Mail Doesn't
Work
The Send by E-mail for Review
dialog uses a specific filter on
the e-mail name you enter. If
your e-mail address doesn't
use a three-letter suffix—for
example, .com, .net, and so
on—you may receive an
error. Instead, in the Identity
pane of the Preferences dia-
log, type your e-mail address
in the e-mail address field,
and then click OK.
