Switching to the copy mode

You must switch to the copy mode before you can make copies. If the user's
pass code has been set up, the correct pass code must be entered before the
copy mode can be made available. This section explains how to switch to the
copy mode and enter the pass code if required.
If you do not know the pass code, check with the system administrator. Only
the system administrator can set up and change the pass code. See the "5.4
Setting up, changing, or removing the user's pass code" section of the Ad-
ministrator Guide for detailed information on how the system administrator
can set up and change the pass code.
After a copy operation, if the machine remains idle for a certain pre-deter-
mined (set by key operator) amount of time, the copy mode will be canceled
and the machine will return to the standby mode. The pre-determined amount
of time can be set in the configuration screen. For detailed information, see
the "5.2 Configuration settings list" section of the Administrator Guide.
