5.2 Using the Fiery WebTools
A downloaded file can be sent to the Direct connection or to the Print or
Hold queues.
The Direct connection can be used on printers without a hard disk drive;
however, use of the Print and Hold queues require a printer/copier with a
hard disk drive.
For instructions on using the WebDownloader to print files from Windows

computers, see "2.3 Using WebDownloader to print" on page 55.

WebSetup

Fiery WebSetup provides remote access to the printer's Setup menu options:
SYSTEM SETUP, NETWORK SETUP, and PRINTER SETUP.
For information on using WebSetup, see the Administrator Guide.

Files sent to the Direct connection are printed as soon as the printer/copier
is free to accept a print job.
Files sent to the Print queue are spooled to the printer's hard disk drive.
Files sent to the Hold queue remain on the printer's hard disk drive until
they are printed or deleted using WebSpooler. (See page 74)
PostScript or text files can be sent, but PCL files cannot.
Select the Font checkbox.
Choose Direct Connection from the Print Connection menu.
Specify a font to download to the printer/copier.
Enter a path to the font you want to download to the printer/copier in the
Source File text field, or click Browse to navigate to the file or font you
want to download.
Click the Send file button.
The font is downloaded to the printer/copier.
