Where to set print options

Override hierarchy
A
Print options set from the Printer Properties dialog box (Windows) and the
Print dialog box (Mac OS) override any equivalent settings on the printer's
control panel.
Print options
The printer/copier drivers that come with your printer/copier have been cus-
tomized to provide additional print options specific to your DocuColor 4 LP/
CP printer/copier. This options are described in the following table.
Although the PostScript and PCL printer/copier driver interfaces vary be-
tween Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT 4.0 operating systems,
the printing features available from each driver, on each platform, are virtu-
ally the same. PostScript-only print options are noted.
Print option names may vary depending on the operating system you are
using, and some print options appear only with certain versions of Windows.

Print Options
From the printer's control panel
Some settings are specified from the control panel. For information on the
current default settings, print a Configuration page.
For more information, see the Administrator Guide.
From applications
With the PCL and PostScript printer/copier drivers (included on the User
Software CD), you can specify print settings when you print a job.
For more information on configuring print option settings from applica-
tions, see Chapter 2, "Printing from Windows Computers" and Chapter 4,
"Printing from a Mac OS Computer".
From WebSpooler
To change the number of copies of a Check and Print job, you can use the
Override Print Settings option from WebSpooler's Edit menu.
From WebSetup
Some settings can be specified from WebSetup.
