Completing the Windows 95/98 connection

To print from Windows 95/98 you need to:
For information on setting up the printer for printing to the parallel port,
see "2.1.3 Printing to the parallel port" on page 46.
Setting up IPX (Novell) printing with Windows 95/98
If you are printing through a Novell server, the Novell network and file server
should be set up before you begin. The file server should be configured with
a print server and print connection for the DocuColor 4 LP/CP.
For details see your NetWare documentation and the Administrator Guide.
The following procedure describes how to prepare the computer for printing
using IPX protocols.
To set up IPX/SPX printing:

Set up network servers, if any
Set up the DocuColor 4 LP/CP to accept print jobs from your computer.
Configure a port on the Windows computer for the network or connection
type.
Open the Windows 95/98 Control Panel.
Double-click the Network icon.
Make sure that IPX/SPX-compatible Protocol and TCP/IP protocol are
both listed in the "The following network components are installed: "
section.
For instructions, see your Windows 95/98 documentation.
You must enable TCP/IP printing to ensure that all files required for IPX/
SPX will be installed. You can select it and click Remove after you set up
IPX/SPX if you do not need to use the TCP/IP protocol.
