Printing to the parallel port

The DocuColor 4 LP/CP has a parallel port that enables you to print files
directly from a Windows NT 4.0 computer if your network administrator has
connected the Windows computer's parallel port to the DocuColor 4 LP/CP
parallel port.

You cannot use the Fiery WebTools through the parallel port.
Printing to DocuColor 4CP using the parallel port is an option. See the Ad-
ministrator Guide for more information.
To print files to the parallel port:

Click the Start button, point to settings and click Printers.
Double-click the DocuColor 4 LP/CP icon and choose Properties from
the Printer menu.
In the Ports tab, confirm that LPT1 ECP printer port is checked. See
section 2.1.3 for discrepancies.
The DocuColor 4 LP/CP is ready to accept parallel print jobs from your
computer.
Click the General tab and click Print Test Page.
Click the Sharing tab if you want to share the DocuColor 4 LP/CP with
network users. Select Shared, and select a share name.
Select the operating system or systems used by your network clients if
you want to install a printer/copier driver that those clients can download.
Click OK to exit the Printer Properties dialog box.
