Retrofit Check Lists
On the following pages are two forms that were developed to help ensure a successful
retrofit with an IR Impact compressor.
IR Impact Retrofit Survey Check List
This form is intended for use in the planning stages of the retrofit process. It is to be used
to gather information about the existing compressor and rack installation to ensure that
the proper parts will be ordered and important piping and clearance issues are addressed
prior to ordering a replacement compressor.
The service technician or other appropriate field personnel should fill out this form on
site and forward it to the service parts coordinator at the Sales/Service Branch that is
handling the retrofit job.
IR Impact Replacement Compressor Check List
This form is intended for use during the retrofit process. It is to be used to gather
information about the new compressor operation prior to completion of the retrofit job.
This information will not only provide a reminder to the service technician of the items to
check before leaving the job, but will also provide a useful record to be kept on file in
case of future issues with the replacement compressor. This form should be sent to the
Sales/Service Branch to be kept on file.
