4 Bolt IR4C to 2 Bolt Copeland
5b. Remove suction strainer and replace
both gaskets (S ) Install suction adapter
to the 4C compressor with the 4 cap
screws (R) provided in the kit.
Position the adapter with the throat angle
down Tighten the 4 cap screws evenly.

5a. Install suction adapter to the 4C
compressor with cap screws (N) provided
in the kit. Adapter will allow for positioning
the valve either horizontally or vertically.
If the valve outlet is piped horizontally,
position the recessed holes in the
horizontal position.
4 Bolt IR4C to 4 Bolt Copeland
5c. Remove suction strainer and replace
both gaskets (S ) Install suction adapter
to the C4 compressor with the 4 cap
screws (V) provided in the kit.
Position the adapter with the throat angle
down. Tighten the 4 cap screws evenly.
