Features
IR
Impact
Semi-Hermetic Reciprocating Compressors cover the whole application range
regardless of whether traditional or chlorine-free HFC refrigerants are used. The latest
innovation is the "C Series" which offer very compact size, universal application, minimum
energy consumption, and very low vibration levels.
All IR
Impact
compressors have the same robust valve plate construction, high quality wear
resistant drive parts, efficient suction gas cooling, built-in motors and proven oil-return system.
For low temperature R-22 applications I-Cool with switchable suction strainer and Inject-Cool
liquid injection systems are available.
Key features of IR
Impact
Optimized for demanding HFC applications and high thermal loading with R22
Smaller cylinder volumes with optimized short-stroke design
4-cylinder models from 770 CFH displacement and above
Discharge mufflers integral (cast-into) cylinder heads
Highly efficient I-Cool system for R-22 LT applications
Low noise and vibration
Universal - only one compressor version for all refrigerants and application ranges with
R-134a, R-404A, R-507, R-407C and R-22
High cooling capacity and COP
Highly efficient valves minimize clearance volume
Efficient large volume motor
No base plate provides a very rigid housing, which lessens leak potential
Wear resistant drive gear
Surface hardened shafts
PTFE coated bearings (also called "DU bearings")
Hard chrome plated piston rings
Connecting rods with generously dimensioned bearing surface
Efficient optional capacity control
