Command Description

Response Codes, Dial Tone Detect, Busy Tone Detect
This command controls three different configuration options.
Response Codes are the messages from the modem,
displayed as either words or numbers. This command controls
which response codes are reported from the modem.
Refer to Appendix C for more information on response codes.
Dial Tone Detect, if enabled, causes the modem to wait (up to
10 seconds) for a dial tone before dialing. If disabled, the
modem dials the call regardless of dial tone detection (also
known as blind dialing).
Busy Tone Detect, if enabled, sets the modem to monitor for a
busy tone. If disabled, the modem ignores busy tones.
