Command Character Echo
This command controls whether or not the characters you
enter from your computer's keyboard are echoed back to your
monitor when the modem is in Command mode.

On-line Echo
This command is normally used to select whether the modem
echoes data back to the host during online data mode. This
device set does not support online data mode echo.

Hook
This command lets the modem go on-hook to disconnect a call
or off-hook to make the telephone line busy.

Identification/Checksum Option
This command displays specific information about your
modem and allows you to verify the ROM checksum.

Speaker on until carrier signal becomes active.
Speaker always on.
Speaker off during dialing and on until carrier signal
becomes active.
