S40 Smart Thermostat Customization - Complete
This screen displays after the thermostat has
been successfully customized.
Homeowners can begin using their
thermostats by pressing Go to Home screen.

Create a New User Account

1. Download the Lennox
®
App from either the Apple App Store or on
Google Play to your mobile device.
2. Verify that the thermostat is connected to the
home Wi-Fi and that all indicators are green
and check marked as illustrated in "Figure
3. Thermostat Connectivity Status" on page
15.
NOTE: The Lennox S40 Smart Thermostat
®
must be set up before the homeowner can
add the thermostat to their new account
(and is usually completed by the Dealer
or installer). See Set Up the Lennox
Smart Thermostat in the Lennox
Smart Thermostat Installation and Setup
Guide.
3. Launch the Lennox Smart Thermostat App.
®
4. Select Allow.
This is required if the homeowner intends
to upload a photo as a screensaver on the
thermostat.
The Allow Thermostat to access this
device's location pop-up dialog displays.
This is required if the homeowner intends to
use the Smart Away feature to control the
thermostat.
5. Select Allow only while using the app.
