MICROPHONE MIXING
Mixing involves combining the signals from two input sources (a
microphone and a tape, for example).
MIXING PROCEDURE
1. Plug a microphone into MIC jack.
2. Adjust VOLUME to a suitable level.
3. Set MIC LEVEL control to the center position between MIN and
MAX.
© If howling occurs (a high-pitched sound from the speakers), take
the following steps.
@) Move the microphone away from the speakers.
@ Lower the volume.
4. Select the desired program source using input selector buttons.
© Select a source other than TAPE.
5. Start playback of the program source.
6. Adjust VOLUME control.
7. Use MIC LEVEL control to adjust the microphone level in relation
to the music source.
8. Talk or sing into the microphone.
NOTE:
Mic mixing is not possible when using the CD DIRECT and DAT DIRECT
functions.
MIXING RECORDING
You can use the mixing feature to record input from a microphone and
another source together.
However, mixing recording is not possible during tape playback.
1. Perform steps 1 to 7 in the section ''MIXING PROCEDURE."
2. Load a tape for recording into deck II.
3. Press REC (@) button on deck Il.
¢ Adjust the recording level.
4. Press PLAY (® or ~@) button on deck II.
5. Sing along with the program source.
With the CT-Z570WR, recording can be performed in the same
way with deck I.

MIXAGE AU MICROPHONE
Le mixage consiste 4 combiner les signaux de deux sources d'entrée
(un microphone et une bande, par exemple}.
PROCEDURE DE MIXAGE
1. Brancher un microphone dans la prise MIC.
2. Régler le VOLUME sur un niveau adéquat.
3. Régler la commande MIC LEVEL sur sa position centrale, entre MIN
et MAX.
¢ Siun sifflement se produit (son trés aigu provenant des enceintes),
prendre les mesures suivantes.
@ Eloigner le microphone des enceintes.
@ Réduire le volume.
4. Sélectionner la source de programme désirée a l'aide des touches
du sélecteur d'entrée.
© Sélectionner une source autre que TAPE.
5. Démarrer la reproduction de la source de programme.
6. Ajuster la commande VOLUME.
7. Utiliser la commande MIC LEVEL pour ajuster le niveau du
microphone par rapport a la source de musique.
8. Parler ou chanter dans le microphone.
REMARQUE:
Le mixage au microphone n'est pas possible lors de I'utilisation des
fonctions CD DIRECT et DAT DIRECT.
ENREGISTREMENT D'UN MIXAGE
La caractéristique de mixage peut étre utilisée pour enregistrer ensemble
Ventrée d'un microphone et une autre source.
L'enregistrement d'un mixage n'est cependant pas possible pendant
la reproduction de bande.
1. Effectuer les opérations 1 a 7 de ta section ''PROCEDURE DE
MIXAGE"'.
2. Charger la bande a enregistrer dans la platine II.
3. Appuyer sur la touche REC (@) de la platine II.
Ajuster le niveau d'enregistrement.
4. Appuyer sur la touche PLAY (ou ~) de la platine II.
5. Chanter avec la source de programme.
Avec le CT-Z570WR, I'enregistrement peut étre effectué de la
méme manieére avec la Platine I.
