C. INSTALL PILLOW (MODELS WITH NECK
JETS ONLY)
The whirlpool is supplied with one pillow and two slip
covers. The pillow includes a built-in magnet which
closes a reed switch on the neck jet body. The pillow
must be in place for the neck jets to function. The cover
must be used to prevent water from spraying from the
whirlpool.
Choose the slip cover of the preferred color, and fit it over
the pillow. Carefully slide the pillow down onto the neck
jet body grooves until it is secure. The unit is now ready
for use.
Periodic cleaning of the cover is recommended. Follow
the cleaning instructions on the label attached to the
cover.
13. CLEAN-UP AFTER INSTALLATION
When cleaning up after installation, do not use
abrasive cleansers as they may scratch and dull the
bath surface. Use warm water and a liquid detergent to
clean the surface.
14. CONFIRM PROPER OPERATION
A. START-UP WHIRLPOOL
Refer to the Important Information on Page 2.
Please perform the following so the owner can safely
receive the benefits of whirlpool bathing.
1.
Rotate the jets so they are facing down toward the
basin.
2.
Fill the whirlpool to a water level at least 2" (5.1cm)
above the top of the highest jet.
3.
Ensure that the pillow with cover is properly
installed before you test the neck jets.
Water temperature in the bath should not exceed
104_F (40_C).

Slip Cover
Stubborn stains, paint, or tar can be removed with
turpentine or paint thinner. Do not allow cleaners
containing petroleum distillates to remain in
contact with whirlpool surfaces for long periods of
time. Plaster can be removed by scraping with a wood
edge. Do not use metal scrapers, wire brushes, or other
metal tools. A powder-type detergent may be used on a
damp cloth to provide mild abrasive action to the residual
plaster.
