D. TROUBLESHOOT WHIRLPOOL SYSTEM – NECK JETS
This troubleshooting guide is for general aid only. A Kohler Authorized Service Representative or a qualified electrician
should correct all electrical problems. For warranty service, contact your dealer or wholesale distributor.
1. Neck jets do not
operate.

A. Pump not on.
B. Pillow not in place.
C. Neck jet flow valve not opening.
D. Faulty reed switch.
E. Faulty neck jet actuator.
F. Power from pump to auxiliary control
is off.
G. Neck jet line is blocked.
H. Switch wire from either auxiliary
control to pump, or from switch(es) to
auxiliary control is disconnected.
A. Faulty pulse cannister.
B. Faulty switch.
C. Switch wire from either auxiliary
control to pump, or from switch(es) to
auxiliary control is disconnected.
A. Turn on pump.
B. Ensure that pillow is properly attached
to neck jet.
C. Check for loose connections or wires
leading from neck jet flow valve to
auxiliary control. Replace neck jet flow
valve or auxiliary circuit board as
necessary.
D. Check reed switch wiring and
connections leading from neck jet to
auxiliary control. Replace reed switch
or auxiliary circuit board as necessary.
E. Replace neck jet actuator.
F. Check for loose connections or wires
leading from pump to auxiliary control.
G. Disconnect neck jet line hoses, and
remove blockage.
H. Reconnect or replace switch wire(s)
that use(s) modular plug(s).
A. Check for loose connections or wires
leading from pulse cannister to
auxiliary control. Replace pulse
cannister or auxiliary circuit board as
necessary.
B. Replace switch.
C. Reconnect or replace switch wire(s)
that use(s) modular plug(s).
