system
Applies to vehicles: with pa rking system plus/pa rking sys-
tem (rear, with rear view camera)
The parking system may be used for parking
or maneuvering .
De pending on yo ur vehicle's equipment, vari-
ous pa rking a ids will help you when park ing
and maneuve ring .

For the
parking system (rear, with rear view
camera ),
t he rear acoust ic par k assis t syst em
is int egrated in t he rear of t he ve hicle and t he
rear view came ra is integ rated in t he rear lid

page 110. The parking system (rear, with
rear view came ra) uses ultrasonic sensors to
determ ine the distance of the vehicle from a
detected obstacle. There are a total of four
se nsors located on the rear bumper (two in
the m iddle and two on t he sides) .

WARNING
Make s ure the sensors are not covered by
st ickers, d eposits or a ny other obst ruc-
ti ons as it may impair the sensor function.

Description
Applies to vehicles: with parking system plus
Audi parking system plus provides audio and
visual signals when parking.
Sensors are located in the front and rear
bumpers. If these detect an obstacle, visual
and audible s ignals warn you . The range at
which t he sensors beg in to measure is approx-
imately:

The close r you get to t he obs ta cle , the shorte r

the volume of the distance signa l chime is
gradua lly reduced afte r a bout
