Right thumbwheel
You can adj ust the volume of an aud io so urce or a
system message (for example, from the voice
recognit ion system) w hen t he sound is playing.
- Increasing or decreasing the volume : t urn the
rig ht thumbwhee l upward or downward.
- Mut ing or pausing : turn the right th umbwheel
downward .
Or:
press the right thumbwheel.
- Unmut ing or resuming : turn the right thumb-
wheel upward. Or: press th e right thumbwheel.

Tachometer
The tachometer displays the engine speed in rev-
olutions per minu te (RPM).
The beg inning of t he red zone in the tachometer
indicates t he maxim um permissible engine spee d
for all gea rs once the engine has been broken in
and when it is warm. Before reaching the red
zone, you should sh ift into the next higher gea r,
choose the D or S se lector lever pos it ion, or re -
move yo ur foot from th e accele rator peda l.
